Scaling your WOD

I love this article! Many people are intimidated by crossfitters for this reason or maybe are scared or believe crossfit is dangerous. Doing what you can, with your bod, and your bod's capability is what needs to realized. Everyone is different and at different levels.
You grow and develop in time and with hard work.
Scaling Your WOD

Paleo Nuttzo

Paleo Nuttzo:
1c-Almonds
1c-Pecans
1/3c-Sunflower Seeds
1/4c-Flaxseeds
2tbs-Chia Seeds
I blended almonds in butter. I blended pecans separately into butter. Blended sunflower seeds seperately. Added all three with remaining ingredients into blender. Blended until smooth.Blending them individually makes it a lot easier on your blender, time, and smoothness.

The Eights CrossFit WOD

I loved and hated this WOD. It seriously tested myself of my endurance and will power.
My weights: 14lb ball, 25lb KB, 95lb barbell.
These are simi-heavy for how many rounds are involved. So by round 6, that wt felt waaayy heavier than it actually was. On many of the last reps, I had to seriously had to give it all I had just to get out of my whole of the front squat or catch the bar low in the jerk. Chalk became my friend since I was a sweaty mess and then I became a chalky mess.
My face was dripping so bad with swat it was constantly running into my eyes and mouth. Lets just say I left my essence all over the floor, bars, balls, and bells!

CrossFit Games

So it's a week since its been over...and I still haven't stopped thinking about it! I was utterly upset I couldn't make it this year due to the insanely fast sellout. I was attached to my computer for the whole week.
Eating and studying in front of it. Taking notes I might add, of movements, tips and other stuff.
I will be there next year! At a computer the second they are released!
I lived vicariously through FB and IG pics which kept me in the loop and made me uber jealous all at the same time!
Reebok seriously outdid themselves this year. I was so amazed at the work put in to the venue and athletes and community and I wasn't even there! Reebok has grown hugely in my favor ever since their Reebok CrossFit came about. They're new releases of gear and apparel was awesome. I have been questioning so many athletes who have gotten the new nanos and lifters how they are and I had no doubt I'd get fabulous responses. And sure enough, everyone has amazing things to share. I have not yet gotten new 3.0s but they are on my list! As well as the new lifters!
One day...
I just loved this pic of Stacie Tovar...I saved soo many photos that are so inspirational.
So until next year...I'll grow and train and get stronger for the next Open!

Smoothie in a PB Jar

Mmmm sooo goooddddd!!!
Chocolate Smoothie poured into an almost empty PB jar.
1 cup ice
1/2 frozen banana
1/2 cup water
2 cups (or more) fresh spinach
1 scoop Cellucor's Molten Chocolate Protein
Cocoa powder
Blended for about 5 mins-very very important that is for this long because that makes the spinach break down making the smoothie seriously so unbelievably thick!
I had a bag of Pumpkin Flax Seed Granola out so every so often I poured some in it to give it some crunchiness.
Getting to the bottom was the best part...the peanut butter. I of course scraped the sides all around as I downed it.
Scraped clean. If I had a long arse tongue I would have licked it!
